Calling all young writers! Firefly Kids wants to showcase your amazing short stories and poems. If you're 12 or under, this is your chance to shine. Parents, please help your child submit their work and let their creativity take flight!
Submission Guidelines
We're looking for original short stories and poems from young authors ages 12 and under for our first edition, which will be published June 5th. To be considered for the June publication, work must be submitted by April 10th. To submit, please email your work following these guidelines:
- Parental Consent: All submissions must be made by a parent or legal guardian on behalf of the child. Please complete this form as you submit. Submissions without a completed consent form cannot be considered for publication.

- File Format: Submit the work as an attachment.
- Email Submission: Email the child's story or poem as an attachment to submissions@fireflykidslit.com
By submitting, you agree to give Firefly Kids first publication rights (we get to publish your work before it's published anywhere else). You retain all other rights to the work. You also confirm that you are an adult submitting on behalf of the child and giving Firefly Kids permission to publish the work along with the child's name and age.
Privacy Policy: No data or information outside of the child's first name and age will be shared or collected. All adult contact information is private and will not be shared.
