Kaylyn Hall is our editor-in-chief and leader for the journal. Kaylyn works as an English Language Arts teacher during the day, but spends her free time doing freelance editing and writing. She is a published writer with a passion for words, and she is so excited to be able to provide children an opportunity that she would have loved to have available as a child. 

Kell Hall is our head of design and administrator (or, as she says, "the wrangler of the stories"). Kell works as the Adult Programs &  Services Manager at the Troy-Miami County Public Library. She also has experience in teaching. As a librarian, Kell is passionate about reading and providing the community with opportunities to engage in growth and literature. 

Brittany is one of our Readers, and will evaluate every submission. Brittany is a published author and illustrator. She is excited to be a part of Firefly Kids and work towards our mission of providing children with opportunities to showcase their work.

Carly Evans is a Reader for Firefly Kids. She will be reading and assessing every submission. Carly has a Bachelor's Degree in English and currently works as a teen librarian. Carly is looking forward to being part of this project and seeing what we are able to create together!

Kenzie Huff is one of our Readers, and will be reading every submission as they come in. Kenzie is a Library Social Worker and has experience working with children and teens. Kenzie is ready to get started and see what the children of Ohio can do!
